Meet Kristen

Meet Kristen Azotea, BCBA, LBA, owner of Heartwood Behavior Service. Kristen has close to a decade of experience working with neurodiverse kids, and their parents, teachers, and support system. She is a mom herself, balancing two kids while working to support yours. She specializes in using data-driven, evidence-based practices and a therapeutic behavioral approach to teach your child the skills they need to thrive.

Kristen is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, which means that she evaluates a client's needs utilizing evidence-based assessments, then creates a plan of action and monitors progress using data. This service is not mental health therapy; rather, she offers behavior therapy directly to kids or in consultation with parents.

Kristen is working with Stacy McCann of Present Moment Counseling Services in order to increase services to kids and their families in Missouri and Illinois. She is available to see kids in Edwardsville, Illinois, or parents virtually statewide.

Kristen's services are private pay only. Her current rate is $120/session for most services. Organization training or school advocacy may differ; contact for more information.
